What's inside

Four attars. Four temperatures. Nothing here is aspirational — it's all already yours.

बादल Baadal

Cherrapunji, 2006 — Cold Cloud, Wet Leaf

The cloud arrives before the rain does. First the temperature drops, then the green goes soft at the edges, then the valley is gone. Wet fern, cold stone, and the earth finally letting go of everything it's been holding since March.

Wear it first thing, on hot days.

दोपहर Dopahar

Indore, 1996 — Still Afternoon, Warm Sheets

Two o'clock in June. Shutters down, khus curtain wet twice already, the whole house asleep except you. Sheets that smell of sun. Skin that smells of talcum and Sunday's hair oil. Nobody has ever been more comfortable.

Wear it close to the skin. People notice it when they hug you, not when you walk past.

सफ़ेद Safed

Lucknow, 1995 — White Cloth, Quiet Morning

Clothes pressed last night, hung on the back of the door. A floor that hasn't warmed up. A small thick-glass bottle that only comes out on days like this one — and someone taking your wrist without asking, pressing the cotton to it, handing it back.

Wear it to mornings and occasions.

चाशनी Chashni

Old Delhi, 2004 — Syrup, Smoke, Evening

Chashni is the syrup, not the sweet. On the fire since four, gone thick and dark and slightly smoky at the bottom. Everything sweet in the city passes through it — nothing here is sweet on its own. It's sweet because it was lowered into this, in the dark, for a few seconds.

Wear it after seven. Weddings, winters, long nights.

10ml. Not 5.5.

Four bottles, more than four scents

These are oils, so they layer. Wear one, or build one.

Safed + Chashni — clean wood over dark sugar. The going-out one.
Dopahar + Baadal — warm skin under cold green. Softens the sharpness.
Dopahar + Chashni — closer, sweeter, quieter. Winter evenings.

Alcohol-free, and it matters

No sting. No evaporating off in Indian heat. No reason to leave it behind — for namaz, for the mandir, for skin that reacts to sprays. It sits on you instead of projecting off you. Attar is a scent people find when they're close, not one that announces you from across a room.

How to wear it

  1. One dab on wrists, behind the ears, base of the throat.
  2. Don't rub — press, and let it warm. Rubbing crushes the top of it.
  3. Give it a minute before you dress. It's an oil, so skin not fabric.

Reviews

You might be wondering

How long does it last?

Longer than a spray, and closer to the skin. Oil doesn't evaporate the way alcohol does — it fades rather than disappears. Expect to still catch it on yourself hours later.

Is 10ml enough?

One bottle is a few hundred applications. At a dab a day, a single 10ml lasts most people well over a year — which is why this isn't a bulk buy, it's a wardrobe.

Will it stain my clothes?

It's an oil, so apply it to skin, not fabric. Give it a minute before you dress.

Will it melt in Indian heat?

No. Oil-based attars handle heat far better than alcohol sprays, which is why this format has survived here for centuries. Keep it out of direct sunlight and it's fine.

Can I buy just one?

The pack is the product — it's how we can give you 10ml bottles instead of 5.5ml ones at this price. Singles are offered as an add-on after you order.

Is this good for gifting?

It's the reason the box looks the way it does.
